Bosch-Siemens household appliances [BSH]

Voltage simulation of all existing low-voltage networks worldwide with 50 or 60 Hz.

The test system is used for the development and endurance testing of various household electrical appliances such as refrigerators, cooker hobs, electric cookers, washing machines, dryers, etc.

The device allows voltage simulation of all existing low-voltage grids worldwide with 50 or 60 Hz. The voltage simulation is stabilised with a setting accuracy of +/- 0.5%.

The DAVRLMU 270/25 device is a three-phase voltage regulator with autowinding for unbalanced loads with three motorised variable toroidal transformers.

Each phase has its own controller which, independently of the other phases, only controls the single-phase variable toroidal transformer responsible for the phase. The output voltage is measured in each phase via a measuring transformer with separate windings.

This stabilises the set output voltage to +/- 0.5% accuracy regardless of mains fluctuations and load. The output voltage adjusts itself to the specified setpoint at an adjustment speed of approx. 17 V per second.

Microprocessor controller

Our PRN4 controller was specially developed and designed for variable toroidal transformers with synchronous motor drive. It can be used as a voltage or current controller for power supply systems, devices for testing and experimental purposes and rectifier systems. All settings on the controller are made using the keypad and the set parameters are stored in a permanent memory.

The input and operating options are designed so that the controller can be customised to specific tasks.

The controller includes an analogue actual value and setpoint value input, an RS 232 interface, three relays for overvoltage, undervoltage and fault monitoring and a control output for AC synchronous motors.

Voltage monitoring

The DAVRLMU 270/25 device is equipped with voltage monitoring as standard in the control range from 27 to 270 V. If the set response value is undershot or exceeded, the output is switched off on the output side with a drop-out delay (approx. 16 s).

Overload and short-circuit protection

The DAVRLMU 270/25 device is protected against overload and short circuit as follows:

  • Input: Circuit-breaker with overload and short-circuit release.
  • Output: Three circuit breakers with overload and short-circuit release.
  • Control circuits: The control unit is protected against short circuits by circuit breakers.
