TYCO – HIGH CURRENT SOURCE

Development and production of five systems for testing the temperature resistance of cables.

High-current tester for testing the temperature resistance of cables. The system consists of a control unit and a high-current transformer. The temperature of the short-circuited cable is measured at several points and stabilised to a defined value. The test device enables precise adjustment and monitoring of the cable temperature of the test specimen as well as automatic temperature stabilisation, regardless of fluctuations in the mains voltage and resistance changes.
