Variable Transformers

Variable transformers are developed, manufactured and tested in accordance with DIN EN IEC 61558 / VDE 0570.

Variable transformers are used wherever alternating voltages or currents need to be adjusted under load between zero and the nominal value. They are suitable for supplying ohmic, inductive or capacitive equipment. When operated as intended, the output voltage remains sinusoidal; neither radio interference nor additional harmonics occur.
